Based at: The Edinburgh Castle Arena
Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour
Duration: This is a temporary position from 24 June – 29 August 2025.
- During off-peak periods, your normal working week will be a minimum of 24 hours on a rota basis between 10:00-17:00 daily Monday to Saturday.
- During peak periods, you will be working closer to 38.25 hours, also on a rota basis, between 10:00-00:30 daily Monday to Saturday.
Key Duties:
- Assist with the printing of additional accreditation passes including performer, staff and vehicle passes.
- Conduct accreditation checks of staff and contractors.
- Complete lost accreditation pass statements, and submit to Event Team.
- Distribute and recover event equipment from staff.
- Maintain a register of all equipment distributed, identifying any missing equipment on a nightly basis for follow up.
- Ensure that all equipment is accounted for at the end of the event, and flag to your line manager any missing equipment.
- Manage stock control of event items, ensuring that adequate stock levels are always maintained.
- Manage incoming lost property and prohibited items in accordance with procedural requirements.
- Support individuals who are required to complete incident reports.
- Input timesheet data on behalf of Supervisors.
- Follow security and safety procedures.
- Liaise and work alongside the Operations Assistant.
- Maintain a clean and tidy accreditation unit.

Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience of working in events in accreditation or similar roles.
