The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is a world-class event, rooted in Scottish tradition, offering audiences an experience like no other. Performed to a live audience of 220,000 each year on the iconic esplanade of Edinburgh Castle, the Tattoo showcases creativity through music, precision performances and dance from military and cultural acts from around the globe.
The success of the Tattoo relies on the connection of performers, staff, and audiences and this enables us to contribute to Services and Arts charities each year. We’re looking for enthusiastic, passionate, and personable people to work with us and join our world-class team.

To operate a spotlight from the lighting gantry of The Edinburgh Castle Arena for The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, to enhance the visual special effects in the outdoor show and highlight key figures.

The Customer Experience Assistants will ensure that all venues are ready for the evening and that all customer experiences meet the expectations – of both audience and brand, including the resolution of any ticketing issues, liaison between hospitality partners and the Tattoo team, and consistency of the Tattoo event experience.

To assist with a range of tasks to support the smooth operation of the ‘in-year’ Edinburgh event under the general direction of the Production Logistics Manager. The role involves extensive contact with performer groups, military and cultural/arts agencies.

To provide a high level of customer service, regardless of an individual’s access needs, improving the customer experience of patrons and spectators. The successful candidate will be kind, patient, well-spoken, and have a passion for making events more enjoyable for those with additional needs.

Accessibility Vehicle Driver
To drive a mobility minibus, transporting patrons with additional access needs closer to the venue, whilst more broadly providing a high level of customer service, enhancing the customer experience of Tattoo patrons and spectators.

Control Room Assistant
The Control Room Assistant works in the Multi Agency Communications Centre (MACC) and captures incidents and events in the daily event log, as well as assisting the MACC Manager in the efficient running of the MACC and A-MACC (Alternative Multi Agency Communications Centre).

To provide a safe and secure site during events, working with the Operations team during the Concerts series and Tattoo period. While also providing assistance to the wider staff during the busy event period. The successful candidates will require a positive and flexible approach to the tasks requested of them.

Reporting to the Venue and Safety Manager, the Site Logistics Manager, alongside the Deputy Logistics Manager, will direct the Site Assistants in delivering the asset and facilities management plan.
