Rate of Pay: £16.60 per hour

Duration: This is a temporary position from 9 June – 29 August 2025. Your normal working week is a minimum of 35 hours between 07:30-19:30 daily Monday to Sunday, although additional hours may be required. You will be working on a rota basis with the Deputy Logistics Manager to ensure a supervisor is always present.

Key Duties:

  • Maintain a secure site, keeping members of the public from accessing restricted areas.
  • Ensure daily safety and security checks are carried out, and documentation retained.
  • Maintain a live log of all health & safety issues, managing the data to be reflective of each hazard/incident status.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Site Project Manager to ensure the site is kept clean and clear of rubbish.
  • Manage event equipment storage and maintenance.
  • Participate in site-related meetings.
  • Coordinate requests for access to site – vehicle and other, ensure visitors are appropriately accredited, and implement a robust site induction management and governance procedure.
  • Support the Site Technical Manager in the collection of contractors’ risk assessments, method statements, and certifications.
  • Deliver site inductions for contractors and staff, maintaining a log of completed inductions.
  • Support the Site Technical Manager in ensuring contractors adhere to site rules and operate in a safe and appropriate manner.
  • Coordinate and manage the Site Assistants (approx. 4 persons) and Site Admin Assistants (approx. 2), with the Deputy Logistics Manager as second-in-command.
  • Responsible for creating and communicating rosters to Site Assistants and Site Admin Assistants, recording hours, annual leave, and absences, and reporting hours to HR.
  • Coordinate with the Site Technical Manager regarding designated use of space.
  • Ensure that the site is ready for habitation, and rest areas are set up as per specifications.
  • Manage any initial response procedures e.g. fire alarms.
  • Some manual handling work will be required – training provided.
  • Ad hoc support to Tattoo core staff.

Essential Criteria: 

  • Supervision/management experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Packages.
  • Stewarding / event / site experience.
  • Awareness of Health & Safety at work legislation, with demonstrable understanding and application of skills.
  • Approachable, helpful, and confident.
  • Ability to form and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Over 18 years of age.

Desirable Criteria: 

  • First Aid.
  • Health & Safety at work qualification.
  • Security Industry Authority licence holder.
  • Foreign language skills.
