About the Tattoo: The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is a world-class event, rooted in Scottish tradition, offering audiences an experience like no other. Performed to a live audience of 220,000 each year on the iconic Edinburgh Castle Esplanade, the Tattoo showcases creativity through music, precision performances and dance from military and cultural acts from around the globe.

Duration: This is a temporary position available between 4 March – 23 August 2025. The normal working week from March to July is a minimum of 35 hours: Monday to Friday, between 09:00-17:00. During August there will be an expectation to work 42 hours: Monday to Saturday, between 10:00-18:00.

Job Purpose Summary: To assist in the successful delivery of the Tattoo guest list along with the administrative tasks relating to sales of Tattoo hospitality packages.

Key Duties:

• Assist with the delivery of the Tattoo guest list – including the successful issuing of guest invites, responses and subsequent allocation of tickets.
• Assisting with the administrative tasks associated with the sale of hospitality packages - including providing venues with guest details and dietary requirements.
• Despatch of tickets and event itineraries.
• Handling email enquiries from customers relating to the Tattoo guest list and hospitality bookings.
• Offering support in the sale of tickets and handling of general ticket enquiries received by telephone.

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience of, and a genuine desire to, work in a customer interactive environment.
• Hardworking and reliable with a flexible approach.
• The ability to work under pressure and without supervision.
• Strong communication skills.
